The Start Anew Project provides survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual abuse with the opportunity to move forward and begin again.
Across the country, the Start Anew Project holds one-day clinics offering services designed to promote financial and job stability, such as financial education and literacy programs, resume and interviewing workshops, information and resources from HR professionals regarding job openings and applications, free professional workwear, and immigration resources.
The Start Anew Project’s mission is to empower survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual abuse with the skills and tools needed to achieve independence and security. In 2024, over 300 volunteers participated in the clinics, serving a total of 136 survivors across five cities.
We are currently planning Start Anew clinics to take place in Fall 2025 in Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Tampa and Washington, D.C. If you would like to attend, clinic registration will open soon. Once registration opens, please register here.
If you are not located in one of the cities currently offered, please check back soon.
The Start Anew Project is actively expanding to additional cities and countries!
